If you've been searching for uncrowded ski slopes and old world charm, Ski Gold Mountain is just for you. Still undiscovered but not too far out of the way, Ski Gold Mountain is located only 50 miles north of Truckee. Take Hwy 89 north to Graeagle, then take County Road A-14 to Johnsville.

Ski Gold Mountain makes it's home in Plumas County within the boundaries of the Plumas Eureka State Park located just a mile past the town of Johnsville, one of California's earliest gold mining settlements and the birthplace of "longboard" skiing and downhill racing in the western hemisphere.
